I had been wanting to go here for ages, so since I didn't have to run JR to FT Sam today, I went.

YUMMY !

We had a delicious meal on Memorial Day. Ribs slow cooked on the grill, bacon potato salad and very berry sangria !!! Dessert was fresh watermelon and/or homemade cheesecake.

This was the schedule for Friday afternoon/evening:

300pm  Pick the kids up
500 pm Drop JR off for trip to play
640pm drop Kelly off at movies with Amanda
700pm dinner with Jim
930 pick Kelly up
1130 pick JR up.

So instead of making a bunch of trips to New Bruanfels and bak, the kids and I stayed at the new Hampton Inn in Selma, TX which is less than 5 minutes from the base and movies.
